The song "Wild Horses." Whenever I hear it, all I can think about is how I wish the person singing would die in a fire. Oh how I wish it!

Or how about wild horses attached to carts containing burning hay. They would rampage over the horizon, head directly for the singer, and trample-crash over them leaving them buried in a pile of flames and splintered wood.

I'd settle for wild horses actually dragging the singer away. Clint Eastwood does that to people all the time, and it seems pretty awful.

Which song is that? There's one by U2 that goes "Who's gonna tame your wild horses?" And then there's this other one by some female vocalist that goes, "Wiiiild horses... couldn't tear me away..."

The second one. It's been covered by about a million different people and it's terrible.

Jenny mentioned herself performing this song at the Clark Music Cafe, which reminded me. . . I think I still have the recordings Brian made of one of the CMC nights on tape. Do you have the technology to turn something like that into digital form?

Wow it would be spectacular to have a digital version of Jeremy and Jenny singing "You Can Be My Yoko Ono"!

sounds like i'm teaching you to use Audacity to digitize from cassettes.

i assume you have a cassette deck at your apt, yes? if so, we can take a walk to the radio shack in central to buy you the <$10 audio cable you'll need, and we can use your computer to do it.

I have TWO cassette decks. Three if you count the dubbing deck as two.

Also, the only machine I have right now is a super ghetto box running Ubuntu. Will that pose a difficulty?

if it has a mic jack it'll be fine. in fact, i run Ubuntu 95% of the time myself.

did you get my email at your gmail?

Aah, I'm sure my playing it every open mic night didn't help! ;)

I probably liked your version. But Andrew playing his version of "Yesterday" at every open mic took the curse off of a lot of things.
