snow day!

Hasbro NEVER has snow days. The snow has to actively be trying to kill you. Like, it needs to be snowing those bullets that Gene Simmons shot at people in the movie Runaway that would chase you around corners and explode when they hit you. If there was a heavy rain of those, then Hasbro might call a delayed start. But today? Today is a snow day.

My flight to Savannah was canceled, which I thought would be a problem with the conference starting tomorrow and me being the keynote speaker.

Apparently, though, they are shifting things around so I can talk on Wednesday. Today has become a day of work at home with the kittie!

it seems like it would be silly not to, i mean 1) as the keynote speaker you're "kind of a big deal" and 2) you're awesome; i'd rearrange a conference to make sure you get to speak.

It's quite bad in RI so I'm not surprised you have no work. All schools are pretty much closed (except staff at Brown and JW). I was suppose to work but decided not to risk my life and car driving form PVD to Cranston. It's only about 10 miles but I didn't want to take the chance. Plus I am sort of snowed in my drive way anyway.
