Sunrise

This is my favorite time of the year. For the next couple of weeks the sun rises right behind the hancock tower as I ride across the mass ave bridge. It lights the whole city up. Sunlight hits the gold dome of the Capitol and explodes into the air, putting an exclamation on the end of winter. Fenway park glows green. I'm reminded just why I love Boston. There are few places so beautiful as Boston lit up by a spring sunrise.

dude, today was glorious. probably the first time that I've commuted in just one layer since early December. my favorite time of year in New England is fall, but this early spring where the air is just as crisp and cool isn't bad either.
